Purchased my prom dress from this site, and was thrilled with the quality. My dress was a bit pricey, but I would 100% buy it again, because it was completely unique, stunning and I felt like the belle of the ball in it! 🙂 Shipping was also faster than I thought it would be, which was a huge plus. Not sure I’ll need another formal dress anytime soon, but I’d definitely buy from them again if I did!
I received a dress that does not even fit according to the chart!!!! the way it is made is horrible it wont even fit into my head! my daughter who is a size 0 was able to fit in it but we had such a hard time trying to get it off her! i ordered a size 8 and got a size 0 how is that possible! also when we did get the dress off it scratched the inside of our arms leaving a read mark on our skin!! this is the worst service i have ever had they gave me the worst time trying to return it saying that they cant return it because it was custom made to be the size i ordered!! well does that mean i have a big head that wont fit into the dress come on!! do not order from this website its a scam they take your money in return for a crappy dress

I read the reviews, I looked the the FB profile and thought to myself, they can’t be all that bad I’ll give it a go…What a mistake that was!!
DO NOT BUY FROM MERLE DRESS! My dress is nothing like I ordered. It’s meant to have Rhinestones on the top it’s covered in tacky sequins and doesn’t fit properly. it is massive across the boobs and tight across the midsection, I didn’t order custom size, but however it is made it is not proportioned.
I’ve sent them a million emails, at first they would reply, it’s now been two weeks with no contact. They over charged me $20 and refuse to refund me, I’ve taken photos of my bank statement, my order, my invoice and even did a “new” order on their website and screen shot the price from them to prove they over charged me and they flat out refuse to accept this. Every excuse under the sun, blaming it on a third party payment (which was not used, I paid direct to Merle dress with a credit card), then they said it was Alipay, I’ve never even heard of this, then they said it was my banks fault. etc etc. End of the day, the transaction was FROM MERLEDRESS and it was too much but as I said, they simply stop replying!!! Save your money. Shop at http://www.lightinthebox.com EXCELLENT product and never had a problem with them!

Hi Sarah, I bought a dress from them, don’t waste your money. If you read my review you can see that the pictures on the site and the dress are very different. I will try and get the chance to take and load some pictures for you, but otherwise don’t do it! Save your $$
Just received my dress today, and it’s absolutely beautiful!! I have to say, buying from online I did not expect the dress to be such high quality. I was so pleased when I opened the box and saw it was the right color, right size, right style, right everything!! Definitely recommend merle dress.

I was quite wary of purchasing a wedding gown over the internet, but after three viewings in wedding shops I was at my wits’end as I just wasn’t seeing anything like the gown I had imagined for myself. I started looking online and found merledress. Talk about choice! They had literally too many styles! But once I’d got the hang of filtering the styles I sound found ‘the one.’ The 5 week wait was no more than local shops had quoted, in fact less than some, and with a total cost of little over 250 Dollers the price was hard to believe.
I’m so happy that I put my trust in them for my gown, and they didn’t disappoint.
It was great to be able to browse through hundreds of styles without leaving home and to know that your chosen colour and size would be available as the wedding gowns are custom made. I fitted into a standard measurement dress, but would have been able to use different measurements if I needed to, without any problems. I was a bit nervous about whether the colour and fit would be right, as they sometimes look a different colour on the screen to real life. I needn’t have worried, both colour and size were perfect. The prices were also very good. I couldn’t have found the same thing in the local shops for that price.
I would definitely use merledress again for this type of dress and have already recommended it to a few of my friends and work colleagues.
I ordered a dress from Merle for my wedding next week. I was nervous because I had never done this before and was hoping I would not be disappointed. When my dress arrived on schedule I got scared because I knew I had ordered a big dress with a long train and it was in a relatively small box. When I opened it up I realized that is was in a vacuum packaged container and when I took it out I was thrilled and excited. How did they get such a big beautiful dress into a small box. The dress fit beautifully and the detail and fabric were exceptional. I felt like a fairy tale princess. I am so excited about wearing the dress. A few people have come over to see the dress and and their breath is taken away. I had a few alterations because I lost some weight after purchasing it and the seamstress said it was one of the prettiest well made dresses she had ever seen. I am thrilled and thank you.
Merle Dress is a Chinese company with Chinese standards for customer service and Chinese standards for quality. In other words, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY. Product quality is poor, customer service is a joke and don’t even think about trying to return a purchase! Beware!!! Consider yourselves warned!
Please don’t order from this company !!! Dresses I ordered were DREADFUL and did not fit, I spent £200 on dresses and aprox £55 on postage and shipping. When I tried to return these I was told I couldn’t return them just cause they didn’t fit as this was my fault apparently!! I have sent numerous emails and had very unprofessional and rude replies from them. Wish I had never looked on this website
The dress I ordered for my daughters prom is not as advertised. The design, style, colour etc were all completely different and it fits like a sack of potatoes! I spent £90 on the dress, £30 on shipping and then you pay £37 tax for importing it to the delivery company. I tried to complain and get return details, but all I have had is a series of very rude unprofessional and badly written e-mails from someone overseas asking to see photos. They then offered £10 refund”
Dress arrived 3 days late for function. This was the rushed delivery service we used. We received notification the day it was dispatched. We were unable to track the dress through DHL as the tracking number did not exist when I made contact with the company the just kept saying I mustn’t worry! Well I was worried and rightly so….they did nothing about it and we did not receive the dress on time. I have not been offered a refund and am afraid that if I return the dress I will never see my money returned! Just shocking!!!
The Merledress was not the first site I met the type wholesale. However, after I made my first purchase, I never bought another site.
Their team is very helpful, always polite and answer all questions quickly and effectively.
As for the products, all the pieces I received, without exception, are beautiful, good quality, well made ??with soft fabrics and marvelous design. Do not buy more elsewhere! Not to mention the price, which is very cheap! Unbelievable.
In addition, the company is delivering in less time by what I could see. And it never occurred to me not to send any parts that I have ordered as has happened to me with another company.
I really feel very pleased with Merledress from your service team, the gentle way as I am treated, and compared products that are always praised. I love Merledress, really.
