    The dress I received looked nothing at all like the photograph of what I ordered. It was comparable to something you’d find at a swap meet! The fabric was cheap and poorly tailored. There were pieces of lace hanging at the seams that were never trimmed. The stones used to embellish the dress were cheap plastic. The dress was inside out when I received it so I had to turn it inside out to view it. Since it had beading and rhinestones, the lace fabric caught on those materials, and ruined the fabric. On another note, I paid for rush shipping and the dress was received over a week late!!! I was unable to contact anyone via phone and the live chat was a joke, the individual on the other end would not answer any questions and completely stopped responding to my questions when I was persistent. You need to contact the company within 24 hours of receiving your shipment if you want to attempt a return, which is a joke because you wont be able to get a hold of anyone anyway… even if you do the most you can expect back is 50% of what you paid… not including shipping!!!! DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE!!

    I purchased a dress of this website and it was for my 21st birthday party, i wanted it to be perfect so i payed the extra $30 for customized sizing so it would fit me perfectly, when the dress arrived it was nothing like the size i ordered it was about 2-3 sizes to big and hung off me like a tent, it looked ridiculous! and the quality was cheap as well, i called and email the costumer service at izi dresses and they didn’t answer any of my calls or emails, when they finally did (after about 5 days of non stop calling) the lady said they will only refund me 50% of what i payed and i have to pay to send it back to them overall i spent $185 and all i will receive back is $65 after postage, THIS WAS THEIR MISTAKE NOT MINE, i am $117 short now and have no dress

    I was stupid enough to not read the reviews for izidress.com when I saw a dress I’ve wanted for so long for such a nice price.
    2 weeks after I purchased my order I got the dress in the mail, but in the wrong color..
    The dress is beautiful and so far I haven’t had any problems with the material or that it’s looking cheap, but I ordered it in navy blue because of a reason, and got it in aqua blue..
    I called the their service number at least 2 times a day for over a week, I sent them 3 emails, without any replies. After a week I saw the live chat on their web site and gave it a shot. Finally, someone replied! Her english wasn’t very good, and their profile picture’s got to be fake! Posting a picture of an European/American looking girl when their store is from Hong Kong? Should had rang a bell there, (no offense, I’m from Europe) but everything just seemed so fake. After getting disconnected many times, and being told to try again later (talked to a women named Rita) I talked to a woman called Lotus, she said that if I wanted to send my dress back for an exchange (TO THE ONE I ACTUALLY WANTED) they would charge me 50 % for the cost for the first dress I ordered, but they would give me 10 % off the new one + 10 dollar which later went to 15 % discount on my new order. THIS IS JUST WRONG!!!!!
    When I tried to pretend I was going to send the dress back she said that it was going to take a long time and that it would cost me a lot. It took them 2 weeks to make the wrong dress, but she said it would take at least 1 month to make my navy blue one, and she wouldn’t answer why.
    Since they had already made the aqua blue one, I had to pay 50 % cost for making the wrong dress.. OMG!
    She never answered any of my questions when I told her about my opinions on stuff and she also said: I’m sorry, it will take a long time to send your dress back, make a new one and send it back to you, so you will save both of us time if you can keep the dress instead. And it will cost you a lot.

    This is not the right way to tell a costumer what to do.
    Here is one an email I got while I was talking to her on live chat:

    Dear customer,
    We are sorry about that inconvenience.
    We are so sorry for the mess,in order to solve your problem as soon as possible,we are wondering would you possibly accept $15 partial refund to keep this item?
    Cause if you want to return it for exchange it will cost you the postage and take a long time to making the new one and will long time to got it. After we check that is beautiful dress.
    In this case,we just hope you can accept the partial refund to keep this item that can save money and time for both of us. We’d also like to offer you a 10% discount for your next purchase.

    Your understand will appreciate.

    She kept telling me it was a beautiful dress, and yes it is. But not the color I wanted!!! So after reading all the reviews I guess I was lucky enough to receive a pretty-good-looking-dress, but still: not the color I wanted. Please, if you read this, DO NOT ORDER A DRESS FROM THAT SITE!

    The dress I received was a very [very, very] poorly made knock-off that looked nothing like I had expected. Emails to the company were blocked; the phone number didn’t work; and the live chat option proved to be a dead end. After a lot [too much] effort, I was able to speak to a representative [who spoke very little English] who told me that my expectations were too high, that the site never claimed to be selling the dresses they advertised, and that, if I wanted my dress to fit, for the clasp to close, and for the numerous defects to be righted, I could always take it to a tailor. Their return policy is non-existent, not because they have poor customer service, but because they’re criminals, relying on non-existent policing of counterfeit merchandise in their home country, the [relative] anonymity of the internet, and people’s reluctance to follow-up after being cheated [or, in this case, stolen from]. Do not buy from this site; these people are thieves.

    This is a fraudulent company. When my dress arrived it was of poor quality, beads were either hanging off or had already fallen off. When I did an online chat I asked for an exchange but advised me to go to my local tailor to have the dress fixed. I told them I spent $180 on the dress and I should not have to go to a dressmaker to fix a problem they should have corrected before it left their factory. They then said they would give me $20 refund then offered $30 refund. When I quoted their return policy they offered 50% refund. I told them it is a damaged dress and their policy states that they will give 100% refund on damaged dresses.They refused so I gave up and contacted my credit card company to investigate.I don’t understand why fraudulent companies are still allowed to operate. Do not buy from this company and make sure you read all reviews before purchasing any prom dresses online

    I just bought a dress the day before yesterday without checking the reviews, I realized that Izidress.com hadn’t gotten back to me on the confirmation of the dress. I got really stressed after seeing the reviews that I could have been possibly scammed.I talked to them on the live chat, they sorted everything out and said it will be dilivered before the date I have requested. So now I am just hoping and praying that my dress will be here and look the way I want. ps, hopeful πŸ™‚

      Ordered 2 dresses for a wedding.
      Received 2 1/2 weeks late. Missed wearing them to the wedding.
      Contacted them a million times with no response and will not refund my money.

      This is a fraudulent site. I just received my dress and it is poorly made, the beads are falling off and there is a hole in the back of the dress. I called the credit card company to investigate because the company told me to go to my local tailor to fix the dress. When i asked for a full refund they offered to give me $20 back on a dress they charged me $180 for. This dress was shipped directly from the republic of China

    Where should i start. .. I saw how affordable the dresses were on this site..so i took avantage of it, and purchaced two dresses for my daughter sweet 16! after two weeks had passed i put in my order number and it went from processing to NONE on top of that, my log in was no longger working. so i looked up the reviews on this site..and my heart dropped i got so scared..i strated arguing with them thu live chat..” how come you guys never pick up” then i told her , i know the dresses are being made in china, i don’t care where it comes from, ” but please make sure it comes, and that the dresses look just like the picture!..she promised me it would arrive this week..i have to admite i wrote a bad review on them a few days ago.cause i had ordered june 1 & the dresses should have been here..BUT GEUSS WHAT!!!!!! my daughter calls me today at work, the dresses came and they look and feel wonderful, just like the picture.and i did receive a tracking number two days ago and the dreeses came today! free shipping and all.it’s made in china it takes time to make these dresses, they’re very afordable too. it was worth every penny and the wait..overall i came off with two nice dresses for a great price!

    This company is not what it appears. Buyer beware. Ordered a custom dress that was made incorrectly and after contacting customer service and sending the required pictures and following company policy they still would not correct the problem. Also when you call the customer service # the communication is extremely poor. This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with.

    I have never been so unsatisfied with a company as I am with this company. The order said 21 business days. It took over 30 business (non-holiday) days for it to come in, when the receipt says 3-8 shipping days. I tried to call the company numerous times. I e-mailed and did not get a response. After that, I finally got through when it was 25 business days later and I was told that it was still not shipped out yet and I would hopefully get it by June 6 or 7. I was also told that I would get an e-mail letting me know when the shipment is on the way, and didn’t get that either. Meanwhile, the wedding is right around the corner and no one was going to call me to tell me that it wasn’t going to come in on time? My parents had to go out of town, and came back yesterday night where we opened the package together since both dresses were supposed to be a gift for my mother. I was told the reason it was taking so long is to get high quality items?

    Well, I got two dresses that didn’t look remotely close to the picture. They were poorly made. The lace looks worn out. The beads hang loosely from the dress, and there is still clear thread that is hanging from the dress like someone forgot to finish it. I won’t even begin to explain how the measurements do not match up to the dresses. We expected to need to make alterations, but we didn’t expect to have to re-do the entire dress and/or pay someone to fix the beadwork? To make matters worse, theres an invoice that states that it was bought in China for $50 USD when meanwhile I paid triple. TRIPLE!! For each dress! And I should pay money to have someone fix it??? The return policy states that they will not take any shipments sent to the company without calling first, but they won’t answer the phone or my e-mails to give me the shipping address. (even though it says they will contact you within 12 hours of e-mailing) I e-mailed twice since it is impossible to contact them via the live chat (which is never activated) or on the phone (which is always busy or disconnected and you can’t leave a message).I’ve already warned them that I will be contacting the better business bureau and small claims court if they do not e-mail or call me, and they haven’t done either to try and settle this matter.

    Now that I am examining their website more and more familiar with all their policies, it looks like nothing matches up, and I don’t know how they get away with a Canada phone number with a London address registered as hairstyles and wigs when they sell clothing and purchasing their products from China.

    Do not under any circumstances purchase from this company. I ordered 3 dresses. They arrived only after I contacted them to find out where they were. There was no correspondence from them regarding the order until after I contacted them.
    Next issue….I looked a my credit card statement and discovered that I had been charged a foreign exchange fee for using a US credit card because as it turns out; they are located in China.
    Issue number 3….I attempted to contact the company to initiate the return process on two of the dresses which I do not want to keep and I have had no information on how to return the dresses. They state you must contact them, but they do not return emails and never answer their phone. There is no return address available except for the one in China.
    They are also filing their import paperwork illegally. The shipping document states that one dress was shipped with a value of $50.00. Untrue; I ordered three dresses each valued at $150.00 and above.
    So the long story is here….the short story is that I am out over $300.00. Lesson learned. Don’t make the same mistake as me.

    Do not buy from here, they take FOREVER just to make the dress. i ordered my dress from 5 weeks ago and was suppose to receive it for June 13th. tomorrow is the 13th and their still telling me that the dress has not been shipped out as yet. to much stress, dont do it!!!!!

    Alright, so overall i actually had a pretty good experience with izidresses. I placed my order with them on the 20th of May and received it on the 12th of June (it actually came on the 11th but i was out). I actually accidentally clicked that i wanted 2 of the same dress, but i noticed my mistake and quickly emailed them. They replied promptly and sorted it out, canceling the accidental order. My dress was $170 (including shipping costs with DHL). Literally a week later i thought to myself “Crap, i haven’t actually checked out their reputation! What if it’s a scam?” I immediately researched online. TONNES and i mean TONNES of customers wrote reviews saying izidresses was a scam and not to shop there. Saying they never got their dresses or that the order was wrong, or that the quality was atrocious! Suffice to say i was a nervous wreck! I jumped on the online chat straight away and wanted to know how my order was doing. Customer service was actually so helpful! Their english is rather broken, but what can you expect? They are based in China. They assured me i would get my order. I was constantly on their online chat wanting to know how my dress was coming along and they kept me well informed. They even went as far as to rush the factory to produce it quicker. They were so patient with me. However i spoke to different reps and sometimes they would tell my different things. Like one minute it wouldn’t be finished till such and such date then it would be. This only happened once and they quickly notified me of the actual shipping date. I ordered using DHL. I knew DHL was a reputable company so i trusted them . I was able to track my order straight away, and followed it all the way to my doorstep. When it arrived it looked exactly like the picture online. I knew they made replicas of the dresses, but was surprised at how good it looked! The quality was great. I was scared that it would be horrible like so many others were saying, but it was great! I do need to get it altered because im tiny! But i had this in mind when i made the order. I ordered the size up so that i can get it tailored when it got to me. My advice for customers is PLEASE click a reputable shipping method. Like DHL or Fedex. If you order over $200 they offer free shipping. Don’t choose this! They’ll choose the cheapest and slowest shipping available. Also keep in mind that it takes them around 15 days to make the dress! Then at tops like 8 days to get to you in the mail. For some reason people seem to expect it to come the very next day after they’ve placed an order and that’s not how it works im afraid! Also don’t order anything that’s overly embellished because i can tell you now it won’t look the same. My dress was a simple chiffon gown and it looked amazing. Overall i had a great experience with izidresses, i was happy with my order and saved a lot of money πŸ™‚ Also the reviews on the site seem a little dodgy. The english is broken and the names are ridiculous, to the point where i know they are bogus reviews. But anyway i was happy, just shop at your own risk! Sorry for such a long review! πŸ™‚

    Ordered dress for my son’s wedding. It was promised 3-8 days DHL. It was ordered on 4/5/2013. It showed the very latest arrival would be 4/29/2013. When it did not show up by May 1 I went on line to track and cancel. It showed someone would contact me. Never did. I emailed too. No response. Dress came 3 weeks after the event. I did not open and just refused. UPS will not send it back by refusal. I would have to pay to ship. Because they are in CHINA!!! And if I did get it back to them their restocking charge is 50% of the cost of the item. Worst on-line experience I have ever had. Do not buy from this sham!
